What is SDM?

SDM is also called Deputy Collector. He is the highest officer at the district level, next only to the District Magistrate, who also works on the instructions of the District Magistrate. SDM participates in all the works of the District Magistrate and participates equally in development and other works. SDM gives instructions to all Tehsildars under his Tehsil . Minimum 21 and maximum 55 years for Divyang .
